Η πρωτοβουλία Cycladic Identity του Μουσείου Κυκλαδικής Τέχνης διοργανώνει ημερίδα με θέμα “Παράδοση vs Εξέλιξη: Η συνύπαρξη του Παρελθόντος με το Μέλλον”. Μέσα από θεματικές συζητήσεις θα διερευνηθεί πώς οι παραδοσιακές αξίες και η πολιτιστική κληρονομιά των Κυκλάδων μπορούν να συνυπάρξουν αρμονικά με τις σύγχρονες ανάγκες και τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη.
Στις συζητήσεις θα εξεταστούν οι προκλήσεις που καλούνται να αντιμετωπίσουν τα νησιά, καθώς και οι ευκαιρίες που αναδύονται από τη στροφή σε μια οικονομία που σέβεται το περιβάλλον. Θα τεθούν ερωτήματα για τις στρατηγικές και τις πρακτικές που διασφαλίζουν την ισορροπία μεταξύ παρελθόντος και μέλλοντος, ενώ θα ακουστεί και η φωνή των ίδιων των νησιωτών.
The Cycladic Identity Initiative of the Museum of Cycladic Art is organizing a one – day conference with the title “Tradition vs Evolution: The coexistence of the past and the present.” Through thematic discussions, it will be explored how the traditional values and cultural heritage of the Cyclades can harmoniously coexist with the modern needs of sustainable development.
The discussions will examine the challenges that the islands are facing, as well as the opportunities emerging from the shift towards an economy that respects the environment. Questions will be raised about the strategies and practices that ensure a balance between the past and the future, while the voices of the islanders themselves will also be heard.
